My Game Voice: Ronan Murphy — Finding the Next Chapter
A raw and personal chapter in the My Game Voice series, this piece follows Ronan Murphy as he navigates an unexpected turning point in his rugby career after the Houston Sabercats’ departure from the league. Blending an intimate sit-down interview with cinematic workout visuals, the story captures resilience, identity, and the drive to keep moving forward. Written, directed, shot, and photographed by me, this project reflects my approach to storytelling — honest, athlete-centered, and built around moments that reveal the mindset behind the performance.
2025 National Battle Of The Bands
The Pepsi National Battle of the Bands (NBOTB) is the largest premier showcase of Historically Black College and University (HBCU) marching bands in the country, designed to kick off the fall football season while supporting scholarships, raising over $2.1 million to date. I was contracted by the Harris County Houston Sports Authority to capture and produce video for this event.
Built Through the Game
During my time with the Harris County Houston Sports Authority, I worked as a Digital Marketing Intern, creating fast-paced visual content across social media, blogs, and newsletters. I led the production of both photography and video projects, often shooting, editing, and delivering content under tight timelines to match the energy of live sporting events. This experience sharpened my ability to tell stories through motion, capture high-impact moments, and adapt quickly in dynamic environments. The work featured here reflects that foundation where sports, storytelling, and creative execution come together.
